URGENT LOCUM TENENS OPPORTUNITY – PATHOLOGIST (AP/CP)
Job description
A well-established regional health system in Ohio is seeking a Board-Certified Anatomic & Clinical Pathologist (MD/DO) to provide 3 month coverage starting August 2025. This is an on-site position with excellent lab support and a manageable call schedule. Credentialing support and travel covered.
Assignment Overview:
- Start Date: Early August 2025 (allowing time for credentialing)
- Duration: ~3 months
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8 AM – 5 PM
- Call: 1 week/month (clinical only – no on-site response required)
Case Mix & Work Details:
- Mix includes cytology, head & neck, and other surgical pathology
- Supported by lab techs, an AP technologist, and a pathologist assistant
- Primarily adult population, occasional pediatric specimens (e.g., tonsils)
Requirements:
- Board Certification in AP/CP
- Active OH medical license
- No DEA required
