Per diem Primary Care coverage in NJ

Job description

• Ridgewood, NJ – Primary Care
• 2 week coverage for now, opportunity for more PRN coverage moving forward. 08/20/25 - 09/08/25
• Has an Internist and 2 Peds MD
• Needs an APP who can see patients when the attending is away
• Check labs and follow up when she needs coverage
• Mon-Fri (9-5), No weekends, do not admit to the hospital
• Sick and urgent visits that can't wait for Attending to be back in
• Most patients email the attending so not a lot of calls or after hours
• Needs someone to be in the office while she is gone
• Daily volume: 10-12, high is 15 a day
• EMR: ECW
• More consultative and admin based role for this coverage
• Fully outpatient
• For support staff, we have 3 medical assistants, one of whom is our office manager, and all perform vaccine administration, phlebotomy, and administrative tasks including billing and scheduling.
• Patient age group is 18-99, though the majority of my patients are 30-70.
• Our patients are commercially insured, and we do not see Medicaid patients.
