• Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:00am – 3:00pm) OT may be Required
• Practice Setting: Maximum-security male correctional facility (ages 18+)
• Job Responsibilities:
o Serve as primary care provider for incarcerated individuals
o Manage acute and chronic conditions
o Conduct physical exams, diagnose, and create treatment plans
o Order and evaluate diagnostic tests
o Collaborate with physicians and health professionals
o Prescribe medications or refer to specialists as needed
o Document patient conditions and care plans
• Background Check Required
• Certification by NY State Education Department
• Active NY State License
