Job description

We’re seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician for an outpatient locum tenens assignment in the heart of Chicago, IL. This is a low-acuity, geriatric-focused clinic with a strong interdisciplinary team and no procedural work required.

Patient Base: Primarily Medicare (age 65+), with chronic condition management

Team: NPs, RNs, MAs, and support staff onsite

Location: Centrally located clinic in a vibrant Chicago neighborhood

📆 Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM

Option to condense into a 4-day week

No weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities

🩺 Scope of Practice
Common conditions: Diabetes, Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, CHF, CAD, mild cognitive impairment

No procedures required

EMR training provided

🚫 Requirements
MD or DO

Board Certified in Internal Medicine (or Family Medicine with strong adult experience)

Active IL medical license and DEA

Spanish-speaking preferred (not required)
