Neurology Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in San Mateo County California:
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Length: 6 months
Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No call)
Job Responsibilities
• Manage medical care for patients using clinical protocols in collaboration with physicians.
• Perform physical exams, update medical histories, and conduct diagnostic examinations.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and adjust patient care plans.
• Provide compassionate, cost-effective patient care in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
• Maintain a safe environment and ensure clear communication with patients and families.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care as needed.
• Accurately document all care and interventions in the EHR.
Requirements
• Current NP national certification and California NP licensure.
• California RN license.
• NP Furnishing License and BLS certification.
• DEA (Controlled Substance Registration) preferred.

Credentialing Timeframe: ASAP
Active CA License Required
Medical malpractice insurance, travel, and lodging provided
