Neurology APP (PA-C or NP) | Illinois | Permanent Position

Job description

An established outpatient neurology practice in Illinois is hiring a PA-C or NP for a permanent, full-time role starting December 16, 2024. The provider will manage adult neurology patients with support from physicians and medical assistants.

Responsibilities:

Perform neurological assessments and review labs/imaging

Develop and implement treatment plans

Prep patients for brain/spinal surgeries

Assist neurosurgeons during procedures as needed

Collaborate across care teams for full-spectrum neurology care

EMR: Meditech

Schedule: M–F | 8- or 10-hour shifts

Patient Population: Adults

Setting: Outpatient only

Support Staff: 1–2 physicians, medical assistants

🛠 Requirements:
Board Certification: Required

License: Active Illinois license + DEA

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS

Experience: 1+ year in neurology preferred

Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days
